About us

Founded in 2007 by Chris West, XtraTime Sports Development started as a football coaching business. However, due to the growing demand for diverse sports coaching, XtraTime expanded its offerings to meet the needs of its customers.

Chris brings a wealth of experience in football coaching, having managed the Trimley Red Devils boys football team from 2001 to 2012 and owned a successful pre-school football business for a decade. Additionally, in collaboration with Trimley Red Devils and Suffolk FA, Chris has been organising Wildcats, football classes specifically designed for girls aged 5 to 11, for the past two years.

With the involvement of Chris' brother Matt as the Sports Development Manager in 2012, XtraTime became a family-run enterprise. Leon and Lily, Chris' children, contribute part-time during school holidays. Lily has achieved full qualification as a gymnastics coach, while Leon assists with football coaching and helps oversee activities at the prestigious Suffolk Show.

Over the past 16 years, XtraTime has expanded its team of coaches and now operates weekly clubs and P.E. programs in schools across Suffolk and Essex. For more information about our partnerships and the services we offer, please visit our schools page.

Additionally, we offer exciting holiday clubs and activities held at various venues. Our popular Dance Mania, Football Mania, and Sports Mania sessions provide engaging experiences for participants.
